Center Needs - help our service oriented organization by being of service to us. Please contact us to contribute in the following ways:
Needs List, Volunteers (garden,etc.)

The Center for Community Empowerment, Inc. is a service oriented organization. If you or someone you know is willing to donate, below is a current list of our needs, listed by category. We deeply THANK YOU in advance!

Sarah and I have given up our past lives, jobs, etc. for the common good that we believe will come from this Empowerment Center we have created. I quit my stable finance job in California in order to start this center. We along with others closely connected to this center are being able to offer the nearby Southern Indiana communities much in the form of empowerment and community strength, health, and balance. Most of us know by now that the world is in turmoil - environmentally, economically, and spiritually. It is also a time of great opportunity and transformation. We have created this center in these times of transformation to help establish a new way of being in this world. However, we can not do this alone. We need your support in any way you can give it - whether that be financially (donations are tax deductible through What's Your Tree non-profit), by volunteering, by passing on something you don't need (see our Needs List below), and by your participation in our community events. We have attempted to create much of our funding through our own services (farming, massage and healing arts, workshops, etc.); however, we especially need your help up front as we are just getting established. Passing on what we are doing to others also helps us serve this higher purpose. We also welcome words of encouragement - sometimes that goes a long way! Whether you are in our geographical community or not, please be apart of in any way you can.
Many thanks and much love,
Michael Hicks, Director
